Our philosophy is our driving force and at the same time the reason why we exist at all. We don't want to be just an ordinary smartphone and computer retailer. We believe that there are better goals than simply conquering the largest possible sales market. We believe that it is worthwhile to set an example against excessive consumption and a throwaway mentality. That's why we are doing everything we can to establish an appliance cycle that is based on upcycling and reuse based.
What Is Upcycling Actually?
Upcycling is the process of revalorising products that would otherwise end up in the trash so that they can be reused. Many people think that upcycling is practically the same as recycling. But there are crucial differences. In recycling, products are broken down into their individual components, which are then returned to the production cycle. With upcycling, on the other hand, the product is not dismantled, but remains in its entirety in the cycle of use, apart from a few replaced parts. Recycling is sustainable, but not nearly as sustainable as upcycling.
Reuse Is Our Future
Revendo's focus is on the reuse of Apple and Android products. We ensure that devices are kept in circulation for longer, contributing to more sustainable use. We firmly believe that together we can massively reduce the annual amount of e-waste if each of us makes a small contribution. By focusing on upcycling, we can counteract the throwaway mentality. It is great progress when more and more people make sure that their old equipment is used again by selling it. In this way, resources are conserved and we can take more care of our nature and the environment.

Revendo started in 2013 with just 2 employees and has since developed into a company with over 100 team members
A large part of the Revendo team works in Basel, because in addition to two shops, our head office is also located here, with various departments such as customer service, human resources, technology, logistics, development, management, etc.. We also have smaller teams in the shops in Bern, Biel, Lucerne, St. Gallen, Winterthur and Zurich specialising in sales and repairs. Zurich also got a second shop on 7 September 2019. At Zollstrasse 57, right next to the main station, revendo is now open for the second time in Zurich.

Just before Christmas, we moved into the capital with a green shipping container in our luggage. Since then, our largest shop has been located right next to Bern's main railway station.

Opening Of Temporary Shop In Dietikon (now closed)
In Dietikon, we took over the outlet of Data Quest (now DQ Solution) and developed an important partnership as a result. Data Quest still buys products in their shops today, which they pass on to us.

Opening Of The Basel Bahnhof Shop
Thanks to the great cooperation with Ingenodata in Basel, we were finally able to realise our dream of having our own shop. There, at Güterstrasse 133, is still our head office today.
